DETECTIVES INVESTIGATE HOMICIDE ON ELM AVENUE

PORTSMOUTH, VA — Detectives are searching for 19-year-old Obie Lewis Holloway III. He is a Person of Interest in a recent homicide investigation that took place near the 2900 block of Elm Avenue. Holloway has four misdemeanor warrants and is considered armed and dangerous.

PORTSMOUTH, VA — On September 30, 2021, at approximately 9:32 p.m., officers responded to the 2900 block of Elm Avenue for a gunshot wound incident. A 17-year-old male was located with a critical gunshot wound. Officers began life-saving measures, and the juvenile was transported to a local hospital where his injuries proved fatal. Next of kin has been notified.
