DETECTIVES INVESTIGATE HOMICIDE ON VICK STREET

PORTSMOUTH, VA — Detectives are searching for 31-year-old Karen Lynn Dissel. She is considered a Person of Interest in the 2021 homicide of 41-year-old Clinton E. Knight.

Dissel was located on 07/26/2022 and she is no longer considered a Person of Interest.

PORTSMOUTH, VA — Detectives are searching for 41-year-old Travis D. Hicks of Chesapeake. At this time, he is considered a person of interest for the 5100 Vick Street Homicide.

Hicks was located on 10/28/2022. He is no longer considered a Person of Interest.

PORTSMOUTH, VA — On October 21, 2021, around 8:23 p.m., officers responded to the 5100 block of Vick Street for a reported shooting incident. The victim, 41-year-old Clinton Eugene Knight, was located with a life-threatening gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. His injuries were fatal. Next of kin has been notified.
