DETECTIVES INVESTIGATE SHOOTING INCIDENT

PORTSMOUTH, VA — On October 6, 2021, at 4:32 p.m., officers responded to the 40 block of Harvard Road for a shooting incident. The victim, a 15-year-old male, sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. It appears that the incident was accidental, and the wound was self-inflicted. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
