INVESTIGATORS SEARCH FOR MISSING PERSON

PORTSMOUTH, VA — Police are searching for missing 33-year-old Brandon Jamar Harris. Harris is described as 5'9 and about 145 pounds, wearing a purple Vikings hat, black hoodie, and black/grey jeans.

He was last seen on October 21, 2021, near the 1600 block of Effingham Street. The family says that they have not had contact with him, which is unusual. The Portsmouth Police Department is attempting to check his welfare.

We urge anyone with information about Harris to please contact the Special Victims Unit at 757–393–8536. Callers can also submit an anonymous tip with the Crime Line at 1–888-LOCK-U-UP. Callers can also submit an anonymous tip through the Crime Line’s “P3 Tips” app or visit the Portsmouth Crime Line Website at www.p3tips.com. Crime Line tipsters are never asked to give their name or required to testify in court. If a crime line caller’s tip leads to an arrest, they may be eligible for the recovery of up to $1000.
