POLICE INVESTIGATE ARMED ROBBERY AT ROYAL FARMS

The unknown suspect has robbed another business, the Family Dollar located near the 3400 block of George Washington Highway. The suspect also attempted to rob the Dollar General located near the 1700 block of Effingham Street. No injuries were reported at either location. Detectives have acquired additional photos of the suspect.

PORTSMOUTH, VA — On February 6, 2022, around 3:31 a.m., officers responded to the Royal Farms located near the 3600 block of Victory Boulevard, for an armed robbery. A suspect entered the location showed the clerks his firearm and stole an undisclosed amount of money from the business.

Detectives have acquired surveillance images of the unknown suspect. The suspect may have been involved in other commercial robberies in the area.
