PORTSMOUTH DETECTIVES SEARCH FOR SUSPECT IN PORTSMOUTH BLVD SHOOTING

The stolen vehicle has been located. It was found near the 900 block of Garfield Street.

PORTSMOUTH, VA — On January 11, 2022, officers responded to the 900 block of Portsmouth Boulevard for a reported gunshot wound incident. An adult male was located with a life-threatening gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment and is currently in stable condition.
Detectives have acquired a surveillance image of an unknown suspect, who appears to be an adult black male wearing a black balaclava, a black jacket over a black hoodie, and black jeans. He appears to be 5'5'’ to 5'7'’. The suspect was last seen driving a stolen vehicle. A blue 2019 Honda Accord.
