PORTSMOUTH POLICE EXECUTE SEARCH WARRANT ON WOODSTOCK ST.

PORTSMOUTH, VA — On March 10, 2023, the Portsmouth Police Department SWAT Team and Special Investigations Unit executed a search warrant near the 100 block of Woodstock Street. Investigators apprehended five individuals, and seized seven ounces of mixed Cocaine and Fentanyl, one ounce of Fentanyl, Two pounds of Marijuana, one handgun, and an undisclosed amount of money. The following individuals were taken into custody.

M. Fierce

66-year-old Michael Fierce, charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl, Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana, Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Possession of Ammunition by a Felon, and Possession of a Firearm while in Possession of a Schedule I or II Controlled Substance. He is being held at Portsmouth City Jail.

K. Burks

48-year-old Keith Burks, charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl, and Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana. He is being held at Portsmouth City Jail.

R. Banks

29-year-old Richard Banks, charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl, and Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana. Banks was taken to Portsmouth City Jail; he is currently out on bond.

T. Bunch

51-year-old Tangela Bunch, charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl, and Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana. Bunch was taken to Portsmouth City Jail; she is currently out on bond.

W. Purvis

28-year-old William Purvis, charged with Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Distribute Fentanyl, and Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana. Purvis was taken to Portsmouth City Jail; he is currently out on bond.
