PORTSMOUTH POLICE IN SEARCH OF RUNAWAY JUVENILE

Investigators have safely located 15-year-old Ky’Azia Hassell.

PORTSMOUTH, VA — Detectives are searching for 15-year-old Ky’Azia Hassell. She was reported as a runaway and was last seen on August 7, 2022, at approximately 8 p.m. in the Harbor View and College Drive area of Suffolk. She was seen traveling with 19-year-old Duane Peake in a 2004 Red Toyota Corolla with VA tags “DE WAVY.”

Those with information on her whereabouts are urged to contact the PPD Special Victims Unit at 757–393–8536 or the Crime Line at 1–888-LOCK-U-UP. Callers can also submit an anonymous tip through the Crime Line’s “P3 Tips” app or visit their website at www.portscrimeline.com. As always, Crime Line tipsters are never asked to give their name or required to testify in court. If a crime line caller’s tip leads to an arrest, the recovery of drugs or stolen property they could be eligible for a cash reward of up to $1000.
