PORTSMOUTH POLICE INVESTIGATE FATAL HIT AND RUN

PORTSMOUTH, VA — On July 5, 2023, at approximately 9:50 p.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of Darren Drive for a report of a fatal hit and run. An unknown vehicle reportedly struck a pedestrian who sustained fatal injuries. The victim is 58-year-old Johnnie Comado Williams Jr. His next of kin has been notified.
