Investigators are searching for a suspect vehicle in connection to the 6000 Churchland Boulevard homicide. The vehicle is described as a silver 2013 KIA RIO with Virginia Tags PR8Y247. PORTSMOUTH, VA — On July 29, 2023, at approximately 4:26 p.m. officers responded to the 6000 block of Churchland Boulevard for a reported gunshot wound. Upon arrival, officers located a 16-year-old male with fatal injuries. His next of kin has been notified of his death.
