PORTSMOUTH POLICE INVESTIGATE SHOOTING ON VIRGINIA AVE
PORTSMOUTH, VA — On July 21, 2023, at approximately 12:13 a.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of Virginia Ave for a reported gunshot wound incident. Upon arrival, officers located a 3-year-old female with a non-life-threatening injury. She was transported to a hospital for treatment. Investigators are now searching for a suspect vehicle described as a Mercedes E-Class Station Wagon.
