PORTSMOUTH POLICE SEARCH FOR MISSING WOMAN

ORIGINAL RELEASE:

PORTSMOUTH, VA — Detectives with the Portsmouth Police Special Victims Unit are searching for 18-year-old Celine Leah Mikango. She is about 5'4" and weighs approximately 180 lbs. She was last seen wearing a brown sweatshirt and black jeans. She was last seen on April 26, 2023, near the 3800 block of Long Point Boulevard. Ms. Mikango has not been in contact with her family which is out of character. We are attempting to check her welfare.

We urge those with information on her whereabouts to contact the Portsmouth Police Special Victims Unit at 757–393–8536. Or call the Crime Line at 1–888-LOCK-U-UP. As always, Crime Line tipsters are never asked to give their name or required to testify in court.
