PORTSMOUTH POLICE SEARCH FOR UNKNOWN SUSPECT, SHOOTING ON TOWNE POINT ROAD

Police are looking for an unknown person of interest pertaining to the gunshot wound incident that occurred near the 3500 block of Towne Point Road.

PORTSMOUTH POLICE, VA — On June 14, 2022, officers responded to the 3500 block of Towne Point Road for a reported gunshot wound incident around 2:18 a.m. On scene, officers located an adult male who sustained a non-life-threatening injury and was transported to a hospital for treatment. Detectives have acquired images and surveillance footage of a suspect fleeing the scene.

Anyone who has information about this suspect is urged to call the Portsmouth Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit at (757) 393–8536 or to submit an anonymous tip through the Portsmouth Crime Line at 1–888-LOCK-U-UP ℠.
