PORTSMOUTH POLICE SEARCHING FOR ROBBERY SUSPECT

PORTSMOUTH, VA — On January 23, 2022, officers responded to the River Walk Inn, located near the 300 block of Effingham Street, for a reported commercial robbery.

Detectives have acquired surveillance images of an unknown suspect. He was last seen wearing a black undercoat, a blue hoodie, faded ripped blue jeans, black Airforce Ones, a black mask, and Grey cloth gloves.

We urge anyone with information about this suspect or the incident to contact the Criminal Investigation Division at 757–393–8536.
