PPD INVESTIGATE SHOOTING ON MORGATE LANE, SEARCH FOR SUSPECT VEHICLE

PORTSMOUTH, VA — On August 1, 2022, officers responded to Fire Station One for a reported gunshot wound incident, around 5:54 p.m. A 16-year-old male was located with a non-life-threatening injury. The victim is expected to make a full recovery.

Investigators located the crime scene near the 4200 block of Morgate Lane and acquired surveillance images of a suspect vehicle.
