PPD INVESTIGATES SHOOTING ON SOUTH STREET

Detectives have located Ashley Williams and she is no longer considered a Person of Interest at this time.

PORTSMOUTH, VA — On July 30, 2022, at approximately 1:27 p.m., officers responded to the 4100 block of South Street for a reported gunshot wound incident. An adult male sustained a non-life-threatening gunshot wound and was transported to a hospital for treatment. Investigators are now searching for 36-year-old Ashley Nicole Williams. She is considered a Person of Interest.
