PPD INVESTIGATING FATAL ACCIDENT ON FREDERICK BLVD

PORTSMOUTH, VA — On July 12, 2022, officers responded to the 2600 block of Frederick Boulevard, around 6:06 p.m., for a two-vehicle accident. Upon arrival officers located 35-year-old Michael Piovane and 37-year-old Brian Credle with fatal injuries, Next of Kin has been notified. Two other individuals, an adult male and an adult female, were also injured in the crash and transported to a local hospital for treatment. This is an active investigation and we will continue to keep the public informed as more information becomes available.
